The premier S.E. Shires B♭trumpet, the Destino III has developed through a close collaboration with Doc Severinsen over several years. As might be expected, it works outstandingly for jazz and for commercial/popular music. It has also become popular among discriminating classical trumpet players, who find it useful for everything from solo literature to large orchestral works.
The premier S.E. Shires B♭ trumpets, the Destino III instruments developed through a close collaboration with Doc Severinsen over several years. This latest incarnation, in medium bore, features a special, more centered design that produces a big, powerful, concentrated sound with a minimum of effort in any register and at any volume. Like the original Destino III, it works outstandingly for jazz, for commercial, and classical playing alike.
The Model 502 was developed in collaboration with Boston-based soloist and trumpet phenomenon Terry Everson. Our most nimble standard model C trumpet, it features a light bell treatment for incredible agility and ease of playing, and a long, efficient leadpipe that provides clear articulations and full, rich, sound that will last for the duration of long concerts or recitals. This model has become a favorite with soloists as well as members of brass quintets and other chamber players.
