Built with independent F/C/Db/A American tuning and precision Rotax valves, the STBQ39YR offers exceptional stability and fluid transitions throughout the full range. A .590” bore and 10.5” detachable-flare yellow or gold brass bell deliver a broad, resonant sound with depth, color, and presence. 

Developed around the American tuning system, this configuration parallels standard bass trombone valve layouts, offering immediate familiarity to players. Scale patterns transfer directly from bass trombone, making adjustment seamless while encouraging a natural balance between valve and extended-position slide technique.
