At the heart of its voice is a medium-weight gold brass one-piece bell with a gold brass seamed bell branch — a combination that produces a dark, smooth, richly layered tone with exceptional flexibility and color across the full range. Nickel outer slides paired with brass inners and crooks offer a refined tonal balance, adding subtle brilliance and depth that responds beautifully to changes in dynamic and articulation. Hand-lapped monel pistons in a three-piston cluster with nickel-silver outer tubes deliver smooth, reliable action that keeps the player focused on expression rather than mechanics. An ergonomically designed trigger on the third slide ensures effortless intonation control in the moment.
