For years I've been searching for a company who could really make the ideal trumpet. Steve and the staff at Shires did just that.  Many times over these past two years I've asked for subtle changes.  Each time the crew exceeded my expectations, and the model got even better each time.

The result of this long  process is quite possibly the best centered trumpet I have ever played. It is incredibly secure, and the sound is just what I wanted. It has a great warm sound when played at softer volumes, but when you push it the horn gets extremely big and brilliant. It records incredibly well and fits in the conventional sections perfectly.
